I had a slight cold that turned into the worst sore throat of my life when I first arrived to my hotel. I could barely swallow without crying the pain was so bad. On top of that it was Christmas Day! My husband called Dr. Arturo who arrived at our hotel within 30 minutes and did a way more thorough exam than the virtual visit I did through my insurance right before my trip. He gave me some injections right there in his mobile office that made me feel better within hours. And it gets better, he went to the pharmacy for me the next day to save me the $50 cab ride and had my scripts filled and delivered to the hotel. He apologized for not being able to do it that night since the pharmacy was closed because it was Christmas! The cost was about the price of an emergency room visit in the states with insurance but very worth it because it literally saved my vacation! I overheard a woman say she wasn’t feeling well at breakfast the next day and promptly gave her his number!

The Dr. came straight over to our hotel, preformed a few tests, did his doctor magic, left me with some antibiotics, and I was fine the next day! Thank you Express Medicine! The Doctor made me feel very safe and comfortable. SO comfortable that I called to use his service AGAIN when I was in NORWAY!!! My travel companion got really sick, and showed the exact same signs as I had a few months ago!!! I didn’t really know what else to do, because the hotel I was at in Norway, did not have an on site doctor, and the nearest clinic was an hour away. Express Medical saves the day! Yet again! Through FaceTime the Doctor walked ME through a few simple tests, and how to check my friend, myself!! (Press here, press there. Describe the exact sensation you’re feeling when she presses here. Etc.) It was incredible, and just so reassuring to have a Dr., literally in your back pocket!! Especially if you travel often, and don’t want to mess with the local hospitals/clinics! 10 out of 10!! Strongly recommend!
